The story tells about one of Marquis Mazzini's daughters, who falls in love with a handsome young Italian nobleman, but her father promises her to another man. Being horrified by the fate of marrying the man she hates, Julia, the protagonist, decides to elope a day before her wedding. But that star a chain of dangerous adventures and unexpected discoveries.
